@bsr2016 I know it is tough, but I try to think of it like this: our bodies seem to need the extra weight to nourish our babies. It is worth it in the end and will fall off eventually. Try to fill yourself up with healthy fats and protein and know that it won't be forever and it will come off with ease once the time is right.

I think I eat more 😂😂😂. But that should not be the deciding factor. If you can physically and mentally I say go for it!

Not true for me, I hold on to all the baby weight until I’m done breastfeeding. But after I drop it all within a few months.

Me too! Like it just falls off with doing nothing - all hormonal. Sucks though because you feel like a whale the whole time you are breastfeeding. 13 months with my son.

@babybert16, I know 😣 I feel giant right now. And knowing that I have another 10.5 months of breastfeeding isn’t making me feel great lol

It was true for me too . Lost most of the weight after 3 months . I also noticed a big difference in my hormones . First pregnancy I didn’t breastfeed and had the worse pp depression . Second time I breastfed for 6 months and never had any signs of depression. 100% recommend it’s the best for the baby and you 💗

Not true for me at all... pre-pregnancy I was 140, when I went up to 180 and when she was born I went to 170, she’s almost 5 months and I freaking 190... HOW?! I feel like I barely even eat and I’m way more active now than I was before I had her! Ugh...

It wasn’t true for me. I feel like my body is holding on to more weight while I’m breast feeding then it did with my first.

I was 175lbs before I got pregnant with my daughter. Went up to 192. Dropped back down to 171 after birth. Within 2 months breastfeeding I was 157.

I lost everything with my son and I didn’t breastfeed but I swear I gained it back over night not long after I had him.

@keonataylor, I lost a big amount of weight after two weeks of having him but then I just maintained the weight I was at! Around 1 year pp I started to loose some, he wasn’t nursing as often and once I stopped I lost it all and went back to my ore baby weight
