Hi bit advice needed ,
My lil one is mainly breast fed but does have a bottle in the afternoon (while I’m at work) my steriliser has just packed in today
He’s 1 on the 23rd of this month shall I go out and buy a new one or should he be ok without the bottle sterilised as he’s just about 1 , thanks for reading xx

You can just sterilise with boiling water, or just wash them well xx
My health visitor told me there isn’t really a need to sterilise once baby starts moving around the floor on their own so personally I wouldn’t bother wasting money when it’s just a few days. If you still want to do it, out boiling water to the marked dotted line in the bottle and turn the tear upside down on top of the bottle and put a little bit of boiling water and just wait for it to drip through x
@mrsbodell, Yeah for breast milk you don’t have to sterilise at all from what I read xx

@fififmrbtteg, yep don’t need to sterilise with breast milk as your breast isn’t sterile so the field is broken already
Maybe just buy the tablets? If he is nearly 1 then once hes 1 he doesnt need formula so could be moved onto cows milk which with this you dont sterile but that's up to you x
When he’s 1 I was going to just give him cows milk in his cup and just get rid of his bottle anyway so maybe the tablets would be easier. Thank you xx
I wouldn't bother about sterilising now. In America, they never sterilise bottles xx
