Can I get a second pump through insurance ?
I got a breast pump last year through my insurance. I brought a lot of Bella’s old items to kids to kids and as I unloaded them I left the breast pump out on the desk!
I wasn’t breast pumping at the time btw ! I stopped at 4months . So that being said I was home looking for this breast pump and realized I left it and they donated it by the time I called 😫😫 !! The medela Breast pump too .
Also the medela pump did not work for me ! Absolutely no milk would come out while pumping . I was hand expressing so many ounces to the point it was so painful. Even if it’s not covered any recommendations for breast pumps ?
Usually they will as long as it’s a year apart!
Probably not but call and ask. New pregnancy they may. If it's a no see if your city has a breastfeeding moms group on fb. Many times I see moms give them away or at least have them up for sale really cheap
I believe you can get one each Pregnancy, no idea how true though.
You have to find out from your insurance. Some do, and some don’t.
I loved my Spectra S1. Haakaa is good to have too while your breastfeeding to catch the milk that normally would be wasted.
I’ll look into that brand ! Thank you !
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

Finally ordered my medela pump in style breast pump online through yummy mummy and my insurance... Not sure why I waited so long since it's free and you only have to type in a few things but no longer procrastinating it's done 😄😄😄
Anyone get a breast pump through insurance?
Trying to get a breast pump through my insurance feels about impossible 😣
United health care is awful. I have a prescription for a pump, but they're seriously making me jump through hoops. My insurance will cover a non medical gender test no questions asked, but try and order a pump to feed my kid, and they act like I'm asking for $10,000!!
I'm determined to get this pump for free. If not, guess we will have no choice but to buy one 😡
You should call your insurance company and find out i know the wic gives you one
