Poor Skye, once again, was sick all night and day yesterday. She had a fever of 101.4 & was complaining her head was hurting & she felt like she might throw up. She never did get sick & her fever never went higher than that.. after a cool shower & Tylenol it continued dropping back to normal. Today she’s got no fever & has been her normal self all day. She said her head hurt a tiny bit this morning but since then hasn’t said anything. I believe she’s okay for school tomorrow, but if it was you, would you send your child or keep them home a day to be sure they’re clear?

Hand Foot Mouth starts out w high fever that goes away after a day or two and then other symptoms show up. I’d keep her home if you’re able
Oh lord I never had to deal with that so fingers crossed that’s not what it is 🤞🏼 but I do believe I’m gonna keep her home just for the fact she’s still saying her head hurts her a little bit so idk if it’s gonna come back or maybe hasn’t completely disappeared. Either way I’m thinking keeping her now is gonna be the best.
Keep her home. Not only for her but to keep others from getting sick. Like PP said they should be fever free without any fever reducer for 24 hours before going back to school or daycare.

@coffeebean, I would plan to send her and just see how she feels in the morning. If she complains, I’d keep her just to be safe
@massmomma16, well she’s begun saying her head is kinda hurting her again so at this point I’m thinking she should probably stay home to be safe. I’d hate to send her for her to get more sick there while also infecting lord knows how many other kids.
Keep her home until she 24 w/o fever, I say this b/c this how those viruses get passed around so easily in school.

Well by tonight it will have been 24 hours since her fever which is why I was planning on sending her since it hasn’t returned. But she’s saying her head is still bothering her a little bit so I’m thinking I might keep her to be safe with it without the fever.
@coffeebean, I gotcha. But if she’s still complaining then I would be safe and keep her one more day.
