My pregnancy is considered high risk so I see a separate Dr for my ultrasounds. I have an appt tomorrow, how likely do you think it would be for them to give me a 3d ultrasound if I asked? Or would that be a whole ordeal for them insurance wise?

it depends on who the tech is. if the tech is super nice they’ll just do it no questions asked, if the tech is a by the book stickler you’ll have to go through insurance.

Oh okay. Hope I get a nice one 😆🤞

The only reason I got any was bc the tech was super nice and baby was cooperating so she offered. If things are going well ask her if she has time for a peak.

When I had an ultrasound with high risk dr they did 3D ultrasound

I have never had a 3D ultrasound for high risk scans. I’ve had dozens of scans between the three pregnancies. Never had the option for 3d unless I paid for it out of pocket and I never wanted that.
