Hi guys just wondering how can I support my toddlers speech and talking. What activities could I do at home ? We talk so much to him! But I feel like he prefers to point and take us to things he wants. He says ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’ randomly so not sure if he understands to say it to us...

Just by talking to them a lot, explain everything you do is one way of doing it and reading lots of books xx

I literally just talk to Theo and encourage him to describe what he is doing. Oh, and we read 2-6 books before bed 😐
He didn't say anything until he was 21 months old thought. Now at just gone 2 he's speaking in full sentences and has a wide range of vocabulary xx

Lots of repetition. Nursery rhymes, books, talking to him to say what you're doing, turn taking games can help, get on their level when you're talking to them.

There is some videos for speech therapy on YouTube , also I’ve been singing ABC song over and over and over , reading can help. Him pointing is a good sign of communication , he will progress and don’t stress he’s still really little xx

There are good video son YouTube like learning videos, I had books with single pictures on them and would go through it with my daughter but to be honest your son is quite young still. Sophia said a few words until 18 months then out of no where she spoke in full sentences and now has the absolute attitude of a 16 year old 😂😂

Мама двоих (младенец)
I brought a few books on Amazon of first words, animals, and other stuff, before Christmas he didnt say much but after these books he came along so much! Knew everything in the book within a few weeks. Noahs a bit older but it could really help 😊x

Yes books are the answer and the more socialising the better as he will pick up words off other toddlers so quickly! Chelsea's loving first word books at the mo and has easily picked up 3 or 4 words this week. Your little ones only young still so just keep doing all your doing and once he starts chatting away he wont stop 😉😊. x
