I have a question. I am having extreme hair loss especially in the shower. I swear its like 20 strands i put out everytime. By the time i get out of the shower i have a huge hair ball. Its so embarrassing around my boyfriend. Should i go to the doctor or could it be from stress??? Or after having my daughter. I just want it to stop.
I wish my hair was thin . I have thick wavy hair.

Hair falling out! Has anyone taken biotin for their hair? My hair dresser recommended it but I haven’t picked it up yet. My hair is falling out like crazy. And anyone who’s seen pics of me know I don’t have a lot of hair to spare. Anyone try it or is there anything else I can try?

It seems like postpartum hair loss. I recommend getting a routine physical and bloodwork though. I was diagnosed with a thyroid disease 5 months postpartum. I’m scared of what would have happened if it wasn’t caught early.

@flamingomom its never happened after my son and I didnt lose this hair until like 2 weeks ago. My daughter is almsot 5 months so Idk. I know i have really bad anemia and my b12 is super low and im suppose to go for shots but havent really had the time

It was like that for me too. I swear it started about 4-6 months pp (can’t remember exactly) and lasted until my daughter was almost a year old. I thought I was going to end up bald.

oh, mine was that way. Thankfully, all my hair grew back. I couldn’t put my hair up for a while though because of all the new growth. It literally look like I cut random chunks all around my head because of all the new baby hairs.

I have had this problem since my son was born. Had to cut my hair short because I couldn't put it up anymore because if how thin it became. My doctor said it was because of my low iron.
