how often do i need to breast feed/pump to keep a good supply for my daughter? shes a premie and cant eat much at 1 time. also what helps increase supply like food and drink wise? i just need some tips/pointers. breast milk is best for her especially being a preemie and i just want to do all i can for her

My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao

Pump every 2-3 hours for about 30 minutes.

Honestly the biggest thing to keep your supply up is hydration. I would assume you’d want to nurse or pump everything couple of hours. If you’re pumping or nursing your body will make more.

Oatmeal with black strap molasses really increased my supply. Also drinking a lot of water.
I exclusively pumped and in the beginning to get my supply started I pumped every 2 hours for at least 30 minutes(I set my alarm for every 2 hours even during the night) I also needed strong suction so I never pumped both of my breasts at the same time.
Later when I established my supply I pumped every 3 hours for the first 4 months and then I pumped every 4 hours for at least 30 minutes.

All I did was eat oatmeal for breakfast and drink water (only water unless I was having a glass of wine) and that kept my supply up. As far as pumping. I pumping for like ten minutes on each breast after every feeding to help build my supply

I had some trouble at first but I bought these in bulk and would drink like 2-3 a day like a snack. But since you baby is small maybe start with one a day. It increases so much milk you can even store it.
