What bottles are best for slow flow? We bought Avent bottles and steriliser but Iyla really seems to be struggling with them. She really tires herself out drinking from them a chokes at times too. I loved them for my first two but hate them this time round. I need something thats not going to come out to fast and tire Iyla out? We changed teats to slow flow and ones she controls but there just not working. It’s starting to make me nervous. Should i change bottle brand all together? HELP!! x

Ive always used tommee tippee and never had a problem. If she's tiring herself out then maybe try variflow teats xx

We have tried variflow since she came out the hospital but its not really made much difference. My hubby has just bought NUK bottles and dummies as they are like the hospital ones so we will see how she gets on with them today/tonight before her heart appointment tomorrow and go from there x

I think she’s tongue tied tho. And we have just discovered a heart issue so i’m going to bring uo the feeding thing again at her hospital appointment tomorrow x

Aaaaah that could be it. My youngest daughter was tongue tied and she used to dribble a lot of her milk out. I'd just make an extra ounce to compensate. She's 7 now tho so it's been a while lol. Hope everything is OK with her heart xx

Just out of curiosity did you little girl choke a lot? Ive mentioned it to the hospital be because she can come back from it on her own they say she’s fine 🤷🏻♀️

@vixster, Go in tomorrow for tests. She breaths so fast to me but seems fine on the machines to the hospital. She also gags then around her mouth turns blue when feeding until you sit her up to wind her. She burps and then her face coz back to its normal colour. The hospital say its fine because she comes back from it on her own but it scares the shit out of me. Any noise she makes i jump and go straight to her.x

@vixster, Thanks hun. I havent been on google i learnt my lesson there with my second daughter and her heart issues. We have had an ecg done its the bigger more detailed tests we’re getting tomorrow. Our hospital often are - Different staff different story so we’re not very confidant with them. We went in the other day with what looked like seizure type movements (not my words) and got a consultant who found the heart issues and mentions epilepsy 😧 then admits Iyla into scbu. The next day a different consultant comes along with a load of students and says shes just dreaming like a dog and all is fine and normal 🤷🏻♀️ I videoed her movements and have been videoing it since that day just in case
