woke up for a diaper change. shes about to go get her glucose tested and then ill try to feed her. fingers cross cuz i have been working so hard to try and get her breast fed.She stays super sleepy and has a hard time holding a good latch due to her being so early. i have successfully been able to hamd express colostrum and syringe feed her but its not much. and i have supplemented 1 time with 11 mls of formula. i have been putting her to breast each time and using a pump to try to get my milk faster. i am drinking all the liquids and i am trying so hard not to get discouraged and give up. its just hard cuz she was a c section and shes a premie. it takes longer for breast milk to fully come in on c section moms usually and i only have so much colostrum. 😩😭
Trying to breastfeed a newborn preemie is tough but try not to give up! My daughter was born at 35 weeks and she would also fall asleep very quickly when I tried to feed her. A couple of things that helped were lightly tickling her cheeks or feet to keep her awake while she nursed. Also we had to strip her down to her diaper for every feed. The less warm and cozy she was the less likely she was to stop eating and fall asleep. Congratulations on your daughter. She is beautiful!
thank you so much. im gonna keep trying. its been rough cuz shes so small and was born so soon and then it was a c section on top of that. milk takes a lot longer for c sections than vaginal births do i only have so much colostrum. But i keep hand expressing and trying to pump
So beautiful! Don’t give up or be discouraged! You got this mama and I’m sure it will all work out she will latch in no time 🙏💚
thank you. im really trying and hoping it all works out
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Also if they haven’t given you any yet ask for donated breast milk. It took a while for my milk to come in so we supplemented with donated breast milk at first.
