Someone help me figure this out!!
Yesterday when the labor dr checked my cervix she said
“Fingertip... 50% _____... posterior”
She didn’t say the work effaced. But I’m not sure what she said. I know posterior means my cervix is pointing back. But i can’t figure out what she said! Is there another work a dr might use for effacement?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Can I have everyone’s opinions on me being 5cm dilated 50% effaced my cervix is high but the baby’s head is there and I wasn’t sent to labor and delivery. My mom is taking me cause she thinks it wasn’t right that my dr didn’t send me over to the hospital so she wants me looked at again. I THINK my dr stripped my membrane but I’m not sure(I say I’m not sure cause she says things and then I’m not sure what she meant she did or didn’t do and I don’t ask but she said “let’s see if we can change that for you” when I told her I’m just tired and in pain all the time)
So I talked with my dr today and she said they don't do 3rd trimester ultrasounds.. How do they know what position the baby is in then ?
Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.
Creeped out! A new guy at work just tickled the back of my neck! I cringed and told him "Don't ever touch me, that weirds me out!" On Monday he pulled my braid as I was grabbing parts for him, I also told him don't ever do that. Ugh. I don't feel comfortable working with him EVER! A coworker told me that when she walked past he said "what's cooking good looking". I feel he doesn't deserve to work here. I can't feel like I'm going to be harassed at work. Like who does that?? I'm so creeped out and grossed out. Ugh. What would you do in this situation? I've reported this to my manager.

Thin or thick, is used to describe effacement.

I’ll have to call my obgyn and ask them to look at it for me. Curious if I’m 50% thinned

being a fingertip dilated I would assume you’re thinned some. I would definitely call your OB.

@februarymomx2, just got off the phone. She said yeah i am thinned and to take it easy
