July, Booked to get an implant. Appointment got cancelled. Booked again. Nurse was sick so appointment got cancelled. Couldn’t get another appointment for aaaages so tried to book an appointment for the pill. Had to wait two months. My appointment was today.

Have another 👏 same thing happend to me. It was hard enough to get an appointment for it to be cancelled in the end i got the Injection worst mistake i done all because they cancelled n im not good with pills 😂

Try a local sexual health clinic? I never use GP for contraception. Our local clinic does drop in it can be embarrassing but it’s so quick

My implant was booked with the family planning clinic but they cancelled on my twice so I went to my gp

Do have a have a local sexual health clinic ? My GPS are crap for contraception although I do feel a little embarrassed going in the clinic because they all.look at you like you got a sti or something but there much better than the doctors 😂

That’s our family planning clinic. It’s impossible to get an appointment if you are over 25.

@mrsbodell, Thats just rubbish eh, Family planning is meant for all ages. Did the gp give you a reason on why they were canceling or even ofter you a new appointment?

@emmabump13, they texted and said due to illness and gave me a number to ring to rebook. They had no other appointments for the next two weeks so I explained to the receptionist and she managed to get me an appointment with the extended hours clinic on Sunday morning! Blood nightmare! I know people can’t help being unwell but I must be the unluckiest person to be cancelled on 3 times 😂

Finally got my tattoo appointment booked for the end of July😩🙌🏽so excited 😆
So after waiting since July, numerous cancelled appointments, my implant is FINALLY in! She destroyed my arm but I’m definitely ready for a baby break!

First appointment cancelled! I've waited 5 weeks to go to my first appointment and it was cancelled because of snow! I'm devastated. I was waiting for this appointment before announcing it and my doctor is usually pretty booked so I'm scared I won't be able to be seen for several more weeks. I'm so upset. ?
Hiya ladies looking for some advice! So I've just got an appointment for the booking in..but that's with midwives at the doctors I want to go to a different hospital but obvs as I'm so far gone what do you think I should do? Ask if I can go to good hope which is where noola was born or just stay at city?🤔 Good hope is much easier for me to get to from my house etc
