So after waiting since July, numerous cancelled appointments, my implant is FINALLY in! She destroyed my arm but I’m definitely ready for a baby break!
It worked well for me and was very effective the only thing that wasmt heat was that I put weight on and my moods were awful but the actual thing its self worked great.
I’m worried about the mood swings 😬 I’m a moody cow almost of the time 😂
How is the implant? I’ve never had it! I’ve been on the depo injection for years before and after my first both times worked wonders but this time round my periods are 15/20 days long and I’m gaining weight 😩🙈 please tell me the implant is better aha
I like the implant because I don’t have to think about it or worry about booking appointments or taking pills etc. It’s one of those things that’s different for everyone. Like any hormone releasing contraception it will have side effects. When I had it before I just had unpredictable periods for a while which eventually stopped. X
@mrsbodell, yeah I know everyone has different options with it I loved the depo injection worked wonders! But this time round it’s so different lol! Driving me insane haha x
I hated it, but if it works for you that’s main thing. Looks painful!
@mrsbodell, my sofa is pretty much an identical colour, I have been up cycling other bits adding charcoal and gold with greys, neutrals creams etc it’s working well but needs an accent wall I have patch tested so many colours
@casey19, ooooooo send me a photo when you are done!!!
At last!!! I've also gotten it fitted for the third time, although this time I've got horrible side affects 😣
I know 😩 it took sooooo bloody long!!! Fingers crossed for no side effects this time! I think I need about 2 years to recover before we think about another little one
@mrsbodell, fingers crossed for you! I really don't mind though as long as I'm safe from getting pregnant! I'm sure all contraception work the same way. They must have some side affects 🤷🏻♀️
Please be careful and listen to your body! This destroyed my body and caused me to have to use fertility meds to conceive my son. It had also moved and imbedded into my muscle.
Omg the exact same thing happened to me! It messed up my cycles and I stopped ovulating altogether. I had to use fertility medication too and the last time I had one it became embedded in my muscle and my arm had to be sliced open to get it out😭 I’ll never go near the implant again😒
@kathleenc, Wow! I’ve never actually had someone have the same experience as me! It caused a bunch of cyst to form on one of my ovaries as well, it wasn’t even useable for a year until it regenerated and healed on its own. ALSO my gynecologist really believed it caused the many tumors to form on my uterus! I am still in shock that I got my little fertility baby. 😭
@thawkins, I used to get shooting pain up and down my arm. It got so bad I couldn’t really carry anything without dropping it! It took a couple of years before my body went back to “normal” 😒

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Babies are here!!!!! My everything's, my boys!!!!????

My boobs are leaking and soaking my baby girl!!
I’m on my 5th one 😊. My first one I had after 8 years on the combi pill and I fell pregnant a month after taking it out. After my last one, I went on the mini pill before trying for bobby and the pill took 3 months after coming off it to have a period. I have not had no problems since this one went in. I just check the position every now and then, never had one travel, must be lucky x
