Just found out I have to pay a $600 deductible to my ob then I have to pay it AGAIN next year because the baby will be born next year. Jesus.
Are you sure? Normally they charge you upfront but then actually submit the bill to insurance when baby is born or when you leave their care... so the deductible you pay ahead of time is actually for next year (unless your insurance changes and you owe more or less)
Damn I'll touch some vagina for $600. Heck I'll touch my own to not pay that 😭
Are you sure?? Doesn’t your OB just charge you your share of costs up front?
Idk this is my first pregnancy. I picked an ob and the receptionist called me and said I still had a 600 deductible I had to pay and I could do 200 payments. But that I’d have to pay 600 again after 2019. Because I’m due in April.
everyone is having there babies and I have to wait till next year 😫
I have to get Charley’s bloodwork done in order for her to start her head start program next month. I’m really nervous. How do they take a 2 years old blood?

This is a sad day. My car finally hit 100000 miles. And I still have a year left to pay it off
So we have no food in our house and no money so whatever we had I let my husband and kids eat. I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten since yesterday. I wish we weren't so behind on rent. Next week we have to pay our phone bill and the week after we have to pay rent again. I'm so sick on not being able to have food in our home.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So yes, the deductible is an insurance calendar year thing and has nothing to do with the pregnancy . So if you’re pregnancy goes into 2019 then yes you are paying your required insurance deductible twice.
I wish mine was only $600 a year. Mine was $2000 until 3 months ago and I thought I had it easy then. Our is now $6350 a year PER PERSON and my son is on the spectrum so we have to pay that for him. It’s hard out here...
