Heated over the fact someone in my family wants to mad react my comment on a breastfeeding post, and then proceed to like many others degrading nursing. 🙄
I'm still baffled that they mad reacted my post and liked a post calling us breastfeeding mommas attention seekers. 😂 I'm sorry clearly people do not realize the emotional, mental, and physical strength it takes to continue to breastfeed?
I will not stop nursing my child just because society thinks it's wrong. I will not put my childs breastmilk in a cup just because she is old enough to drink from one. I will not cover up just because people want to sexualize my breasts.
Thank you God for allowing me to be on this wonderful journey with my daughter. Thank you for giving me a good support system with the people who are close to us, who are able to see how natural and beautiful this bond is. 🙏🏼🤱🏼💪🏼🥰

I think it’s a generational thing. I feel like the next generation will be perfectly fine with nursing. At least that’s what I’m hoping. But I do see it becoming more socially acceptable. Which I think it’s ridiculous that it’s not. I can honestly say I felt lucky that I could nurse for a year and I didn’t feel weird or feel like people were offended while nursing in public. It drives me nuts that nursing mothers feel this way. It’s seriously the most natural thing we can do for our babies! Block them on Facebook so u don’t even have to deal with the ignorance and continue doing u dear!

I think it's more so full term nursing I'm talking about, or extended nursing as some call it, even though it should just be called nursing. Age, should not matter, eating is eating.
But it originally started on a post of an older baby nursing. But still. If you don't agree or have nothing positive to add, why be negative though? I mean, my boobs, my baby don't affect your life so why take time out of your day to add more negativity into the world?
I just don't understand people sometimes. 😂

I understand the comments that people make when you nurse an older child. My dad still likes to make comments about me nursing my son still. I personally would have liked to stop at 2 years but it just wasn’t an easy thing to stop
When it is your kiddo’s main source of comfort and they are a picky as hell eater to boot! But I hate how many times professionals made comments about how I needed to ween my son when I was pregnant with my daughter. Got so tiresome.
