Five Months Old • Mr.Big Boy is growing up so fast! This past month he went on his first road trip. We quickly found that driving late at night during his bedtime is the way to go. He got his first experience of the country life up in Oregon as well as his first experience with allergies. 😅. Poor boy is an indoor, homebody for sure. #LikeMotherLikeSon

He is so so strong. He’s inchworm crawling his way around. And he has been practicing sitting up. His pediatrician said at his 4mo vaccination checkup that he’s ready to start trying purées. I know “food before one is just for fun”, so I’m kind of nervous to introduce solids so soon. I may just wait one more month like the norm. 😄

He’s still pretty vocal & still totally obsessed with his mama.

He’s our favorite little man. ❤️

Ahhh life with boys!! Boys are something else I tell u!! I grew up with 3 sisters, one being my twin sister, so the boy thing was new to me. Anyway my 3 year old is newly potty trained so he says he needs to go potty. He’s at the stage where he’s just now going by himself, can wash his hands alone etc. so he comes out of the the bathrooms and says “mom I peed on the wall” sure enough just next to the toilet pee all over the wall!! I just want this pregnancy to be healthy and stress free. This is very special for my boyfriend because he’s been in prison pretty much half of his life & never got to experience any of this. He’s so happy right now. He’s been home for 2 years now & worked his way to the top & now we’re having a baby 😊 He keeps telling me he wants to go to all the parenting classes & everything. He’s coming with me Monday just to watch me do more bloodwork 😂🥰. The way we met is so crazy but as he said in the end, the best part of it all was meeting me & now we’re having a baby.

Ok so my son just got his first job. He’s also type 1 diabetic. Well last night while working his sensor starts going off his blood sugar dropped to 52. They told him he could deal with it after he got his orders done, which in a way I understand that but at the same time if it drops low enough he can pass out and that won’t be good for anyone!! They wouldn’t even let him just grab some glucose tabs out of his bag. I’m so torn here because I don’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not.
