What do you do when your a stay at home mom and your stuck? My fiancé pays for everything and does everything, but when I met him I was so independent. I had 3 jobs. He told me that if I didnt want to work I didn’t have to, but being the independent woman I am I continued to work. I knew having a baby some things I wouldn’t be able to do anymore but now I just feel like I’m loosing myself, my self worth, and my confidence. HELP!!!
Oh I would have been devastated if I missed all of this. We'll get through it mama 🥰 I'm here if you need to talk or anything
I am the same way! It definitely took getting used to and I still have my days where it's super hard, but I look at my baby and see everything she's doing and learning and all that I would have missed if I went back to work and it helps a little. But try getting out the house even if it's window shopping or walking around the park and talking to friends that makes a huge difference.
Yea I’ve been trying to stay active in some sort of way. And you are right, I do need to think about the times I would have missed while I was away at work. I may have been more hurt than anything.
I felt and still do feel at times the same way
. I worked ft before my baby was born. My fiance told me he wanted me to stay home and I honestly wanted to as well. A lot of times I feel lost or like I don't do enough but shit! We do the most important job and we don't get payed a dime for it! We are contributing just as much and working just as hard if not harder. You got this! ❣
Thankyou I needed to hear that last part. Because I feel like I do waaaay to much. I need a damn salary! Bills have to get payed regardless... but what about us?
@alyssamom2019 I hope it gets easier for all us stay at home moms.🙏 ❣ It's def worth it.
You know you have children when...
You get to work and notice that your pants have smudges of unidentifiable origin from the knee down. ?
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Planning on another baby...?
So for my first time moms when do you plan on having your second child?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
IF WHEN I HAVE MY BABY I DONT WANT MY BD OR HIS FAMILY TO EVER C HER WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO???
I’m in the same boat, to add on to all this we just moved to GA I know nobody. My depression is beginning to get overwhelming
