@icebergahead, I liked having a list, and the satisfaction of checking off each chore as I got it done. But best believe, my mom was furious if my brothers didn’t do their’s and let them know it!

My brother always had the easiest job! To take out the trash.
My other two brothers just had to organize their room. Me & my sister had to wash dishes, Mop and sweep from top to bottom.
Sometimes my mom would put all of us to clean every single wall.

But one time, my dad left me a note when I was living with my dad and would cook for him as well as for my older brother. He left a note that said “Can you cock the chicken please?”

I saved that note for years but lost it when I moved.
