So I need to vent. My youngest sister, who has no kids...told me today that I was basically a terrible person because I had a job interview and getting said job would mean my kid would be raised by someone else. This is the same sister who a few months back was mouthing because I was “just a waitress and that’s not a real job.” Which is weird, because I never got paid in Monopoly money....anyway, she tells me when she has kids, she’s going to live off her husbands money (who doesn’t make much) and be a stay at home mom who bakes all the time and spends time with her babies and has a clean spotless house (we can all laugh together). How I need to spend every second I can with my kid that’s what REAL moms do. Okay 1. Some moms don’t have a choice. I HAVE to have some sort of a job. My bf makes great money and we don’t live a remotely lavish lifestyle. I still have to work. 2. What mom enjoys leaving her babies all the time, sure adult conversations are great. But any working mom misses their babies. 3. So what if a mom wants/needs to work to have her own identity. Something besides being mommy or wife!? Who cares. And until you’re a mom who the hell are you to judge how other moms parent? We’re all doing the best we can and for most of not all of us, no matter how great we’re doing, we’re convinced it’s not good enough. So save your judgements for when you’re trying to decide if you can afford to work and pay a sitter or just ride the struggle bus and be home with your baby for the few short years you can.

She’s 21 and she’s trying to have kids of her own because she’s “basically an expert”. She just drives me insane. She’s constantly telling my sister, her sister in law, and myself how were raising our kids wrong. Usually I just roll my eyes and laugh it off, just really pissed me off today.

It takes a village ma! That saying didnt come around for nothin. Your sister is an idiot and LITERALLY has NO CLUE what she's talking about! EVERYONE is a perfect parent.....UNTIL they have kids! Takin her advice on parenting would be like taking marriage advice from the chick on her 5th husband, USELESS! Just sit back and WAIT girl. She'll have kids one of these days, the lil shits will drive her CRAZY and when she comes to you for that MUCH NEEDED break that ALL mama's REQUIRE, you just make a BIG deal out of it. Say that you're just makin SURE she'd want to risk her children's growth and development, possibly REALLY screw em up by bein a bad Mom havin someone else look after them all so she can just be a SELFISH jerk that takes breaks from her PRECIOUS spawn! Make a BIG point outta that last part and make SURE she realizes how fucking RIDICULOUS she sounded!!

@leonardsquared, lol I’m sure. She can’t handle not being in complete and total control of everything, being on her “strict” schedules, being excessively early for everything, and when you have kids...hahaha....those things don’t tend to happen.

Haha...NONE of those things happen...like EVER! My kid was just late for the SECOND day of school. We JUST started and I'm ALREADY suckin!! She'll QUICKLY get over herself! Lol!

If anyone starts a sentence with “when I have kids” I just shut my ears off. We all think we’re going to be perfect moms and be happy little homemakers. Babies are rough sometimes, toddlers suck sometimes and for some people living off of one income isn’t an option. You should drop your kids off with her for a week with no instructions or money and see how she handles 🤷🏼♀️ I feel a little guilty that I’ll have to work more after this baby comes because my husband will be working on his masters but my mom will be in our home with our girls. They will be well taken care of and loved. This is something that we feel needs to get done so we can give them a good future.

Yea I agree. I mean the only totally stupid thing I thought when I was pregnant was I would have time to work out and clean a little more when I was on maternity leave because I was working so much until the day I had my daughter. Lol but little did I know....what’s so funny is she was babysitting her friends baby about a month ago and had to call my mom to come help watch him so she could take her dogs out to use the bathroom. I said what are you going to do when you have a baby?! They’ll still have to pee! Lol she said it will be easier when it’s my own kid. Oh...yes...they’re always easier when they’re yours. That’s right. 🤦🏻♀️😂
