I made it to 38wks! Just got home from my doctor's appointment and the midwife checked my cervix and I'm 3cm dilated and 70% effaced but apparently they won't admit me til I'm 6...which doesn't make any sense to me but hey I don't make the rules...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
i'm getting my baby circumcised tomorrow & it makes me so sad. i want to do it but i don't want to see him hurting :( makes me cry every time i think about it
So I just found out that my husband is sleeping with my sister and they are making fun of me.
I usually never make past 3 days late with my period. I'm on day 2. Wish me luck!!!!!!
I really really hate the fact that I got stretch marks on my boobs. And it kinda bothers me when mommas tell me they are something to be proud of because it's my baby tattoos or my proof I was growing a miracle...I'm pretty sure once my son is in this world with me HE will be the proof I grew a miracle inside me. I know they try to make me feel better about it but there really is nothing beautiful about stretch marks! No matter how you put it.

I was 2cm at 33weeks with my first. Then at 36-39 weeks I was 3cm. I had terrible Braxton Hicks but I was not in active labor. Your time will come. Dilation doesn’t mean labor will happen soon. Not without actual contractions. The contractions you’re explaining are Braxton Hicks. They are irregular. Some painful, some not so much. But if they were real they’d get worse and wouldn’t go away.

I never made it this far with my first, she'd be almost 3wks by now...so it's honestly a little bit weird to still be pregnant. These Braxton's just feel so real at the moment but I guess it's not the real thing. With my first she came at 35+2, put me on pitocin, didn't feel anything and was able to eat breakfast and lunch, didn't really start to get the effects of the pitocin til the evening and then yes things got painful and by 6:33 pm she was born, now she's a happy and healthy toddler

@armywife72515, I’m glad she’s healthy and happy! Remember all pregnancies are different. I had pre e with my first but didn’t with my second. With my second I had no idea what it was like to go into spontaneous labor. I had bad Braxton Hicks and was always paranoid like is this it?! Well when it did happen there was no question anymore. Those real ones are a bitch compared to the BH lol

@bearsbeetsbattlestargalactica yeah I remember spending most of my active labor with my first in the bathroom and the sheer look of panic on my hubby's and nurse's faces hoping that I wouldn't have her in the bathroom luckily I was able to muster some strength in between contractions to move from the bathroom back to the bed

You could be at a 3 for weeks, girl. That's why they aren't admitting you. If you're not contracting, your water isn't broken, or you have no other complications.. there is no need for admission. I was 3cm and 95% effaced at 32 weeks and made it all the way until 39 weeks before having my daughter.

@armywife72515 I know its frustrating and tiring but the longer you wait, the better it will be for the both of you. Being patient is hard. I understand.

They probably won’t admit you unless you’re in active labor. I’ve heard lots of women dilated more than you for a while. But your body is definitely doing its thing!

@phoebesmommy they've been getting more painful but not really consistent yesterday I had contractions that were 5-25mins apart except for a couple after a nap (laying down helped) but I figured that it wasn't close enough together to go in so I didn't
