@bubbys.mommy from what I read the biggest risk is the rapid, painful, strong contractions that often put mother and baby under stress. The stress can cause baby to pass meconium and if they aspirate it possibly a potentially fatal infection.

I googled it once right before posting this and all I’ve ever heard was “don’t do it” not the reasons why or the risks and what I saw online was nothing bad. I just already knew it was something people jump down your throat about sometimes. So no I’ve never heard of any of these things happening.

Don’t take it so many babies have died from it even though it’s not scientifically proven that that’s the cause of death I’m 99% sure that’s the cause of why they pass .. some people drink it and their babies end up pooping in the womb and they swallow their own poop and get sick and die from it

Being on mom apps the past two years, I've run into many stories where women have lost their babies after taking it to "induce" labor.
Not worth it and don't pay any mind to those who say "I took it and everything was fine". Just because everything went well with them, didn't mean a thing

Please do not use it! Years ago when I first came to this app when I was pregnant with my daughter there was this incredible woman on here and she used it as her last resort and she lost her baby and cause of death was the baby’s lungs had been “ flooded” by the oil. Nothing is worth the risk. Baby will be here soon! Just hang on sweetie. ❤️
