What??😕If you Google castor oil to induce labor it will absolutely bring up the dangers and possible side effects. What are you googling? You never saw why people jump down peoples throats?

@bubbys.mommy from what I read the biggest risk is the rapid, painful, strong contractions that often put mother and baby under stress. The stress can cause baby to pass meconium and if they aspirate it possibly a potentially fatal infection.

I googled it once right before posting this and all I’ve ever heard was “don’t do it” not the reasons why or the risks and what I saw online was nothing bad. I just already knew it was something people jump down your throat about sometimes. So no I’ve never heard of any of these things happening.
If you try anything do stuff like pineapple or the lemon cupcakes some natural things to put in your body just not castor oil ! Do a lot of squats and walking too
I walked a lot today. I’m gonna try squats in my living room after my son goes to bed! I’m just mostly afraid I won’t be able to get up after doing just one 🤣

Don’t take it so many babies have died from it even though it’s not scientifically proven that that’s the cause of death I’m 99% sure that’s the cause of why they pass .. some people drink it and their babies end up pooping in the womb and they swallow their own poop and get sick and die from it

@flamingfiremom, I was still 5 when they sent me home but i went up to 70% effaced...I walked a lot today too so honestly I don’t doubt it.
Being on mom apps the past two years, I've run into many stories where women have lost their babies after taking it to "induce" labor.
Not worth it and don't pay any mind to those who say "I took it and everything was fine". Just because everything went well with them, didn't mean a thing

Years ago when I first came to this app when I was pregnant with my daughter there was this incredible woman on here and she used it as her last resort and she lost her baby and cause of death was the baby’s lungs had been “ flooded” by the oil. Nothing is worth the risk. Baby will be here soon! Just hang on sweetie. ❤️

There was someone in my birth month group when I was pregnant with my oldest who drank it. Her son died.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
