Crawling tips!! My son will be 9months in the 16th and has yet to learn how to crawl lol. Any tips on how to encourage…

Mine didn't crawl or roll untill he was 10 and a half months ! Now he's starting to let go of furniture to walk ! He will do it in his own time. I find 'encouraging' them just makes them more frustrated

My baby loves quality street wrappers because they are so colourful and shiny. So I put a few out in front of him and he tried so hard a few times then on the third attempt he just went for it! Since that day his just been crawling lol

Chelsea only started army crawling at 9 months, on all fours crawling around a year and at 15 months is now walking on her knees bless her lol x

He will crawl when he’s ready if he does at all. Some bum shuffle or roll to get about before walking. Interactive play at their level should always be part of daily routine

My daughter is nearly 13 months and just learnt to crawl properly, she was pulling herself up to stand and cruising before crawling aha, yet my eldest crawled at 8 months.

We just did loads of tummy time and I always let her just play around on the floor with her toys. I just feel they will pick it up in their own time :) xx

Plenty of tummy time and putting toys just out of reach in front of him might encourage him to move but don’t worry about it, they all learn at different paces xx

Is he a little chunk? I say that because my 10month olds only been crawling for about a month and he’s chunky lol so was getting worn out trying. He will get there though so it’s nothing to worry about xx

Thanks ladies we do a lot of tummy time but he often gets frustrated because he hasn’t mastered getting up on his knees lol although when he’s in his travel cot he kneels up lol xx

My girls the same, she'll be 9months on the 23rd and not crawling yet, she's on her knees and rocking just got to master the moving lol xx

They don’t have to crawl :) some babies crawl some don’t :)

My mums friends 4 kids. None of them crawled... they just went straight to walking x

He'll do it eventually. Theo was 9 months crawling and was walking pretty confidently two weeks later. They are all different x

Just let him do it in his own time. One of mine didn’t crawl till she was nearly 1 and then walked at 18 months. They all learn at their own pace x
