What everyone said, except the one thing I did not bring with my first that I did with my second, that was the absolute best thing in the world was a light/med. weight robe. It was super soft and cozy. It was perfect for after I had baby. Oh and it had pockets. I still use it.
Pads, undies, pjs, slippers, toiletries(shampoo conditioner soap toothpaste toothbrush), towel, wash cloth, clothes for going home, hair ties, chapstick, socks, a robe, if you’re nursing a nursing bra or tank top is helpful, charger and maybe a few snacks.
@hollyerinbrazzell, you’re welcome and to save space getting travel size items is good. The hospital usually has a towel you can use to shower and stuff but I remember with my son the towel was small and thin and I wish I had brought my own. Also maybe a pillow. Hospital pillows don’t tend to be the comfiest
