Nursing bra (even if you're not breastfeeding), nursing pads, slippers, Chargers, laptop (optional), snacks for after delivery, Cami's, pants you could care less about (they will get messed up) or pajamas will do. Your own toiletries (they provide them, but that toothpaste tastes like pickle juice) And an outfit to go home in. And for baby, mittens, a hat or two, socks, coming home outfit, an outfit for pics of you're taking them. Everything else, the hospital provides. For SO, just clothes/pj's and he might wanna bring his own pillow

If you aren't sure, I say pack them! I'm not sure about your hospital but at ours, they provided us with a Halo swaddle sack and then sent us home with a brand new one! So awesome. We did our newspaper photo right before discharge, so he was in his own coming home outfit! If you're not sure about that as well, I'd just take the clothes you want for newborn pictures too. Better to have it and not need it than not have it when you do. :)

we have swaddle cloths but i didnt know if the hospital provided that as well . and do they let you change outfits for newborn pictures ? @darianweaver

my husband will have his mp3 player to listen to at night and my phone to play game's on. but if u like to read or do puzzles maybe take a book with u..

Literally all I used was clothes for my husband and I, toiletries for my husband and I, and our phone chargers. They gave me everything else I needed. For baby, we just needed an outfit to go home in, and a blanket we used to snuggle him in.

my mom said to bring stuff to make time pass but im afraid i wont use it and everyone is telling my fiancé to bring stuff too but i feel like he will be more into bonding with his son to do anything but theres times they will be taking him for shots , circumsizion , and whatnot @mrs.rcleveland .

im a ftm also. i didnt mean anything bad by the im simple thing. just i see a lot of woman go way to overboard when packing a hospital bag for just a couple days ..alot of hospitals will provide diapers, wipes, pads and mesh underwear and non slip socks.

im simple. i only packed a night gown for me and non slip slippers, and will have a nursing bra and nursing pads and my toiletries (travel sized shampoo and soap and a few pads) and for baby i packed two dresses and two sleepers two pacifiers and a blanket. i also packed two diapers and pack of wipes for the ride home

@princesssskxo, pacifiers are okay, but its hard to lean them off of them..

@princesssskxo, for me, I packed going home clothes, pjs, slippers or slipper socks, undies, pads (which ik hospital will provide), hair brush, toiletries, will pack a book and my phone/charger and snacks. for baby, I packed 2 pairs clothes, recieving blanket, and a few diapers along with wipes (hospital will provide those too), and some people pack pacifiers, but I'm not using them unless I have too.
