Anyone shop at Aldi? I was wondering about their salmon....I don't want conflict fish 😆 I'm hoping it's fresh but anyone know if it's farm raised?

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

I don’t know if it’s farm raised but we always buy fresh and make the same day. I tried their seafood once and I personally thought it was nasty. I am also very picky about fish and meat. We have a butcher we use for meat and go to a seafood place.

My husband was raised near the ocean so he is very picky too. I never knew anything other than frozen until I met him and I got hooked! 😆 It's rare we eat fish now.

@scidg3, oh ok. Growing up we always are fish. My dad always went fishing so I learned a lot about fish. Lol 😂 My kids will eat fish which is awesome. People are so surprised when I say they eat it.

If it’s labeled as Atlantic salmon, it’s farm raised. Look for something labeled as “wild caught” - if it doesn’t have that label then it was farmed.

It will definitely say on the package but I believe it is fresh. I am a huge Aldi fan, bordering on stalker. :) shoppers constantly ask me questions in there because I move like I own the place. Lol

Not sure if it’s farm raised but it’s really good! And I’m not that big on fish by my neighbor made it was so good
