My appointment is next Friday and I really hope I’m effaced a good amount and dilated .
This birth has to be natural
@jaixi, it’s completely normal to go over a week or two even w your first
@phoebesmommy, at the moment nothing makes me high risk.
Even my c section was because with each contraction her heart rate dropped because she was pressed against the cord and then my heart rate started to drop. That pregnancy wasn’t high risk either.
They said and research has shown that mothers with a previous vbac shouldn’t deliver after 40-41 weeks because of chance of uterine rupture because of the size of the baby.
I did read controversial articles but I’m not sure what to believe.
I just want my body to naturally go into labor and deliver vaginally.
@jaixi, I understand more now. It’s always ideal NOT to have to go through a major surgery but whatever is best for you and baby’s safety ❤️
Ur baby also has to be head down low to have a natural birth at 36 weeks I was 70% effaced , 1cm dilated n I could feel her head myself , the doctors said she was super low and that my labor was gunna be very easy bkz I was super thinned out n she was super low and sure enough I pushed her out in 10 minutes super easy
Don’t know if she’s had down yet officially but remembering my last pregnancy, she feels head down and I every time I walk too much she just burying herself more and I get thigh contractions and get rock hard in the stomach.
But I’m not trying to deliver at 36 weeks more 37-39
My births have been natural and I wasnt ANYTHING 5 hours before I delivered my second. Dilation and effacement means nothing without contractions.
Not to mention it’s way too early for you to Labor. Baby needs to cook longer. Full term is 39 weeks
@phoebesmommy, even though this article is horribly old I suppose you’re correct .
@jaixi, which is at anyone stating 37 weeks is full term is very out of date. Those lungs need time to develop. Every baby is different but it’s best to go past 38 weeks and every day in the womb matters
@phoebesmommy, I do believe that. I wanted her to stay there as long as possible but right now long as possible is MAYBE 41 weeks.
I need her and my body naturally be ready and deliver naturally as well.
Why do you want to deliver between 37 and 39 weeks??
