Warning! Sensitive!
So this was on the radio this morning!
Don’t know if anymore heard about it but.
This father in Harlem, New York left his 1 1/2 year old (excuse me 7month old) just looked it up; twins in the car for 8 hours! He worked at a hospital!
Now he says he thought her dropped the kids off at daycare! The daycare never called to asked if they were coming in or nothing! I know my daycare would definitely call me if my kids never showed!
The question is should the father be charged with negligence and manslaughter!
I negligence but I don’t think he should be charged with manslaughter!
You thoughts!
2 yrs ago a Woman/Mother Who was a Pediatrician in a St. Louis Hopsital left her baby in her car for four hrs until found by people who broke the window &called the police the Autopsy stated the babygirl died in the 1st hr of being left in a Hot freakin car ! Outside temp that day was 95’ and the car reached 140 degrees ! Just horrible ! The mom claimed that day she even wore 2 dif shoes to work &once out her car played fuckin tennis for 45 min before going into work but,had parked in her hospital parking work lot wow just nuts !
Absolutely horrible and I hope they throw him under the jail. Sick of this shit happening
I didn’t see the story but I am assuming he put the children in his car so how could he forget they were there? I just don’t understand it. I think he needs to be charged with both. The children were his responsibility.
Oh but he remembered to drop off his 4 year old to day care. Go figure
They were 1 1/2 years old. They showed pics from their 1st bday party on the news and also, the family is from the Bronx. Anyway I do believe he should be charged with both. Though it was an accident, his negligence was the direct cause of their death.
Father or mother shouldn’t matter they both have a responsibility to those kids to keep them safe there’s no way you just forget you have two kids in the back seat for 8 hours . Sorry. Charge him with both. I feel like if it was a women or babysitter people would be less sympathetic which is crazy to me.
I believe it was a mistake buy damn how dumb can u be!
I believe he should be charged with both! I’m sorry, but no one will EVER convince me that there was a justifiable reason for leaving your babies in hot ass cars. Especially not for HOURS. This is far past a typical parent mistake. It’s not even slightly okay. I honestly believe a good bit of these parents are doing it intentionally.
Idk because I honestly believe him and that it was a mistake. There have been cases were parents lied saying they forgot their child in the car and have left them on purpose so they could die. So I don’t feel he should be charged because he lost his children and I feel he’s suffering enough but I understand them wanting to use him as an example so this doesn’t happen as often. I think if you truly forgot your child in the car by accident knowing someone has been charged with manslaughter isn’t going to prevent that from happening. It might stop the parents that do this on purpose. Such a horrible situation. I have super high anxiety and I check the back seat of the car even if I know I don’t have my kids in the car. Omw to work I still call my mom to make sure she has my kids. But not everyone has severe anxiety the way I do.
Things happen and dads especially aren't as aware as women would be with their kids. (Even though women also make careless mistakes with their children) when you're tired, overworked or have a lot of things going on in life, you get silly. It's horrible he's being charged because it was an honest mistake but I guess they figure, someone has to pay
Last Summer in a Miami Bch hospital a dad “ who happens to be a Doctor left his toddler in his car “ so yes regardless of his career choice a Parent is a parent ,and the innocent child suffered and died because,of his negligence
Honestly , it’s been happening so many times ... that i think he should be charged at this point . He killed two children , i mean..... how do you forget your kids in the car ? Idk... to me it’s insane ... and even if he feels bad - two kids still lost their lives they were foaming at the mouth when they were found . So sad honestly it broke my heart
My heart breaks for that family. Did you see the dad sobbing in court? His life is over either way, he will never get over his careless mistake costing his babies their lives. I always made a habit of looking in the carseat before I walk away from the car. Even though my daughter doesn't go to daycare. Even though I know I didn't put her in the carseat. I look every time, even now that she's six and I couldn't possibly miss her. It is so truly sad.
No matter what the sentence is, that dad has sentenced himself for life.
That man looks absolutely broken. I feel so sorry for him.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
At what temp should I start to worry with my 3 yr old? he has what I would consider a fever.. but I don’t really know when I should start to worry! Already called his doctor just waiting for a call back..
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Just curious as to how a mother is so careless with her children that her 15 year old got pregnant and has 7 possibilities for the father .and one of the possibilities , is her STEP FATHER . WATCH. YOUR . KIDS.
I think he should. Although it’s nice to have a daycare remind you, you didn’t bring your kids it’s not their responsibility to do so. He was an adult and I doubt he forgot them I think he was careless. How on earth do you forget two not one TWO kids in the car no. He definitely should be charged unfortunately
