Question : at your 30 week appointment what do they do? Like do they start checking your cervix??…

I didn’t start having cervix checks til 37 weeks. That’s when most doctors start doing them.

Nothing happened when I went just regular check up and same with my pregnancy before this one just was a regular check up and I didn’t dilate at all so went home after the visit I was the one who asked to see if I dilated because of the pressure but nope I didn’t

With my daughter they started checking at 35 weeks, this pregnancy they checked at 32 but that’s just because I’m having a slow leak again.

You can also ask your doctor when they’ll start doing them

If you have a stroller you can bring and put her in it and have her close to the head of the exam table. It’s really fast so I would still bring her. My son had to come to most of my visits while I was pregnant with my daughter. Now they’ll be coming for this 3rd. The stroller works wonders for me with my daughter.

ETA: if she uses a tablet bring that, some snacks and a toy. It will be so fast she won’t notice.

With mine they start at 36 when they do the GBS test

They told me they will check next wk at 36

Thanks ladies! I literally couldn’t remember when they did it for me last time. My daughter doesn’t handle me even getting my BP taken well, the first time they checked the heart rate for the Doppler she had a meltdown & that was with my mom in the room while she was watching her tablet. So knowing it’ll be about 36 weeks I’m definitely gonna have to plan for someone to watch her , she’s a little spit fire that one 😂
