Just looking for advice from people that rent. My family and I live in a basement unit of a house and have terrible neighbours upstairs. Its a family of 6, and they are imigrents. When they first moved in we felt bad for them because they didnt really have anything so we gave them a couch a mattress and numerous other things to help out. However these people are so unbelivably loud all day long and even at night it is unbelievable. They pretty much let the kids run the show up there. We have talked to them about it and they apologize but nothing changes. And now that the tempeture is getting hotter they only feel its necessary to run the AC if they are home. Leaving us to sweat in the heat if they go out all day. Anyways we brought this up to the landlord and she just sided with them saying they dont know any better because they arent from here. Then yesterday they baracade me in my apartment after my husband leaves, with the furniture we gave them, and left a mattress in the middle of the driveway. These people are crazy and the landlord wont evict them. What can we do about these people besides moving???? 😭😭😭😭

I don’t think you can do anything if they pay rent on time the landlord legally needs a really good reason to evict them and electricity bills in the summer aren’t cheap maybe that’s the reason they feel the need to keep it off while they aren’t not home
@segreto46 They shouldn't have soul decision of when it's on or off. If it's not only for their apartment it's also up to the rest of the house when it's on. In this heat it's dangerous to have it off all day. You could tell your landlord that if he doesn't do anything about it you'll report him to the regie. I don't know what that is where you live but all landlords are registered and there's places you can call to complain. You'd have to do a little research. As for the noise, where I live you can complain if the noise goes past 11pm. You can call the cops and they'll come talk to them.
@mommy1991 yeah exactly. Landlord even told them that they shouldnt be doing that. We live in Hamilton so there is some research I am going to have to do
Cops don't do anything here where I live if neighbors are making to much noise. Usually by the time they get to your house the noise from the neighbors stop. They said they need proof and need to hear it. I know they do nothing because we have been dealing with these noisy neighbors for 4 years and I don't have enough proof. I have video evidence, a paper trail and I have recorded plenty of the noise the kid makes. But it's not enough 🤷. I wish I could post some of the stuff I have on them
Omg that sounds like hell. I hate noisy people. Especially when they let there kids go nuts running around in a house.
@segreto46 if my kid does that he gets punished. He knows not to go crazy in the house especially because we live below someone. They only time he really screams is during a tantrum and it sucks. But the child upstairs is worse then my kid any day, there is no discipline at all up there. He bounces off walls banging things, even when he's in their basement which is below our living room she lets him throw things against walls and ceiling. Oh and at about 8:30 at night when I get babies in bed she starts stomping and slamming closet doors. She does it because she knows when I put them to sleep. She harasses us constantly

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Call in noise complaints all day and night after the 2 one they issue like 375 dollar fines and keep issuing them . Or get urself a loud ass music system and blast st anger by Metallica all hours . That's what I did . Way back when I rented and had pos tenants In the same building .
