Potty training HELP!
My daughter will be 2 1/2 next month. She gets the concept of what she’s supposed to do on the toilet. Every time I put her on it she goes or atleast tries to go. But she’s treating her pull ups just like a diaper! She won’t tell me when she has to go, but after she poops she’ll say “poopy ew stinky”😂🙄
Debating if I should just put her in underwear when we’re home? Just don’t want to be cleaning up pee spots all day. Any other moms have luck with your toddlers feeling more uncomfortable with underwear on & helped them learn faster? Just want to get this somewhat down before our second child comes in October!
I’ll take any tips!

I have potty trained over 20 two year olds in my career (I worked in a day care and my primary goal was to have all of my kids potty trained before they entered the next room) and my advice to parents was to bring them in underwear and bring extras, as well as extra changes of clothes. Pull-ups are a waste of money in my opinion. My daughter is in the beginning stages of potty training and in the next couple of months I will be transitioning to underwear during the day and diapers at night

Ditch the pull-ups and go right to underwear. We only used pull-ups for nighttime when potty training & he picked it up pretty quickly.

Both my hubby and I potty trained our son by making a deal with him. If he went potty in the toilet all the time that we’ll take him somewhere he wanted to go: he wants to go to Disneyland, Disney world and Lego land. I told him well which one is cheaper to go first. But now he’s fully potty trained. He has had a few accidents but that’s because he didn’t make it in time but other than that he’s been good
