Tbh I smoked with all 4 of mine 7lb2oz 6lb11oz & 7lb1oz all at 37weeks and my 5week prem was born at 32weeks and was 4lb9oz so still a good weight my waters broke then placenta adrupted if I have anymore I wont smoke even though everything that happened they said it wasnt down to me smoking but while I was pregnant they said these things can happen because of smoking x
Set yourself a goal. The placenta starts to take over from the yolk sac around 9 weeks so your baby will receive some of the effects of a cigarette. Talk to your midwife/doctor, they’ll support you to stop. It is difficult to just stop but you’re potentially giving your baby a life time of respiratory problems so it really is worth cutting it out.
Thankyou so much! That wss really helpful! I will stop i will!😖 it is hard but its not worth harming my little one!x
All due respect, it is a pretty taboo/ sensitive topic for a mums app so i would guess that you would get only negative responses if any at all. My best advice would just to be read up on the health risks to baby and case studies who have lost babies through smoking in pregnancy and hopefully that will give you the push you need x
If people want to give me negative comments then i guess that's up to them:/ its not a nice thing but there are so many people that do it. And i want to stop. Thankyou chick x
@ellie.case1234 As said, all due respect. I'm not here to judge 🤷♀️ but as @erincharlieconor try and see if you can push your vape more. I always like menthol juice as it was strong, wishing you luck! X
I did with both my pregnancies
I had 4 with my daughter and quit cold turkey
Then with my son I still smoked but cut down how many I was having a day
He is fine
