I NEED HELP! So my baby pooped sometime last night in her sleep (she’s had a hard time pooping all day so I gave her prunes a few hours before bed) I didn’t know she pooped in her sleep because I went to bed when she did. Well she just woke up and she kept fussing with me (not crying just groaning like) so nothing seemed wrong but I got her up anyways to change her diaper. When I did I noticed poop and I thought to myself “omg how long has she been wearing this and how is she sleeping in it”. Well I start to clean her and she’s crying and I notice after getting the poop off my baby girls butt is so raw it’s bleeding! Wth do I do to fix this!? She’s in so much pain I didn’t even put a diaper on her I just put her in my bed and wrapped a blanket around her bottom. I’m crying and don’t know what to do

I’d honestly stick her in the tub just with water, no soap or bubbles. Let her completely dry after & then I typically use “Triple Paste” it’s kinda pricey but it WORKS. But if you can’t leave your house atm, if you have baking soda somewhere. Mix some baking soda with some warm water until it becomes a paste & lather her with that everywhere you see its raw like that & it instantly will soothe her pain, & within I’d say two days it should be damn near cleared up. I used this on my daughter when almost the same thing happened to her. Except it was a nap & when she woke up she was raw. Had to do with her not being able to drink & handle apple juice which we later learned was the issue. Anyway, that baking soda trick saved us that night.
aww poor babe! all my advice is already said above, but I hope she gets to heal fast! I hated those diapers and finding a raw butt 😖
Take her a warm bath, for the rest of the day do not wipe with wipes. If she poops take her a bath. And put baby rash ointment.
Let the baby bum bum air out as much as often. So less diapers on throughout the day.
Leave it to dry out and once it’s dried coat it with Vaseline

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing.
