My SO doesn’t want me to get a job and put our daughter in daycare because he says it’s better if she’s at home with me…

Mine doesn’t want me to work period unless it’s at home with my daughter 🤦🏻‍♀️ he says I have his money so I don’t need to worry but I HATE not having my own because I know what all he has to take care of and pay for and I hate just adding to his list instead of being able to help him a little. 😢 it’s soooo frustrating lol

@kotasmomy2317 Same here. I want my own money and I want to get out of the house to have adult interaction and conversation. He does not want them in day care. I hate asking him for money. So I feel exactly the same about spending his money, when I could make my own money and get the stuff I need instead of using his money. He says it's not worth it unless I make as much money as him. And I would only have a sitter twice a week. I also can't work opposite hours he dies because he will not do food shopping and cooking for everyone when he gets out of work

@ladyfreyja, girl me too! It drives me nuts not having my own money and not being able to have that adult interaction. Sometimes I wish I could just swap with him for about a week and let him see what I mean. Lol

I did babysitting for a long while and absolutely loved it. I had some mental health set backs that I’m still trying to work through but babysitting is definitely my top choice if I can’t find work from home jobs

@kotasmomy2317 yeah, my hubby doesn't want me to work either because he doesn't want anyone else to watch our kids so caregiving works out perfect for us, plus he knows I'm helping his parents and grandma so it all makes sense in his mind lol I caregive for his grandma when his parents have doctor appointments, surgeries etc.

I was doing babysitting and then had some mental health set backs that I’m still trying to work through. I LOVE working with kids though so I loved babysitting and the extra cash was definitely a bonus!

His schedule is so undetermined though 😩 he goes in at the same time but he gets off at all times. One day it could be 3:00pm and the next it could be 10:00 pm 😭
