My kid is taking an antibiotic for her ear infection. It’s amoxicillin mixed with something and it’s giving her bad diarrhea. What can I give her? Also her bottom is so red :(
Anybody else have one ??? Or was offered one ? I think it’s going to be helpful 🤷🏽 ♀ I’ll give her a try !
I wanted to do one of these before our breastfeeding journey ended. I have a feeling it’s soon 😔 since her dr has us giving her formula to give her more calories, I’m finding it difficult to give her breastmilk as well. She gets full off of me alone so she doesn’t want the formula if I breastfeed her first. And if I give her formula first, she doesn’t want the breastmilk. I’ve been alternating feedings but that’s just caused my supply to drop. She’s getting chunky, though. That’s all I care about, really.
Look I know it’s not right to harm other people, but I understand her.

Baking soda mixed with warm water! Instant relief for the bum. Mix those together to make a paste and use it like a diaper cream and within two days you should see a HUGE difference.

Probiotics for sure. Also can try the yogurt with probiotics

Probiotics. I like the culturelle kids in the packets. Just pour it into applesauce or something and mix it in.

Yes yogurt does not mix well with an upset stomach.. Just give water or crackers

The yogurt will help restore some of the healthy gut bacteria that is being killed off by the antibiotic, so it’s fine for her to eat it if she’s not nauseous.

Her doctor said to give her yogurt and it could help her to not get diarrhea

my doctor told us that the antibiotic is killing all bacteria and the yogurt is good after antibiotics to restore good bacteria. when my daughter was hospitalized all they gave was Pedialyte and crackers our baby was only 8 months at the time

Oh no! She’s drinking lots and eating yogurt and seems fine just a bad rash and the poops are driving us crazy. It goes through her clothes a lot
