Depends on time of day you deliver. 2 nights for vaginal, 3 for csection, with no complications

24 hours if no complications here. I had my daughter's vaginally, no complications for either of us. We were good to leave after her 24 hour testing was done. She was born at 3:58am though so discharge was set for 9am. We live in MI.
