Question??? how long does raw sausage last in a refrigerator for once it's been bought?? It says online only last one to two days after it's been bought and put in refrigerator but it doesn't expire until tomorrow. So would it still be good to cook tomorrow? It's been in there since Tuesday, but again online it says it only last one to two days in the refrigerator once bought which doesn't make sense to me because it's not expired yet

Go by the expiration date on the label. I would think the one to two day rule would apply only after you open the food.

I generally freeze and thaw when using but I would say a few days after expiration date. If it changes color and smells off then I would chuck it.

Yeah I thought about freezing it, I thought it was going to be using it right away, but that didn't happen

Mine lasts a lot longer then that in the fridge at least a week and maybe a few more days at that. If it looks and smells fine then it’s good. And I wouldn’t do by the date either.

Then why on line does it say raw meat once it's brought home to your fridge only last 1 to 2 days? Even though it's not expired
