I was reading over the summary from my appt yesterday(38w1d) and it said "Poor Fetal Growth Affecting Management". Does anyone know what that means? At my last appointment,he was measuring 1cm smaller when she measured my bump. I won't be surprised if he's a smaller baby because I've always been smaller. She wants me to have an ultrasound on Monday to check his weight.

@rariszoo That's what I assumed but wanted to make sure. Do you think if he's still on the smaller size at my Monday appt, that they'll induce me?

@amanda7 it depends on how small he is. My first was a all enough to be diagnosed with Intrauterine growth restriction and they took him at 37weeks because he wasnt growing. My second measured a little behind, only about a week or so smaller than what's typical, and there were no plans to induce me. She came on her own at 37 weeks though. So if he's only measuring a little behind I doubt they'll induce just because he's a little small.

It’s most likely a coding they put for insurance purposes. If something was really concerning they would tell you more.
