it 2 yrs 6 month old enough to start trying to potty train? my son is 2 yrs 6months. i got him a potty chair this morning but idk if its too early or not or how to go about starting it.

My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. I did with my oldest and she caught on will well....
My youngest I started sooner and she still struggling with pooping. Each child is different. Just don't really force it until they're ready

My daugher will be 3 in December and she is almost completely potty trained still has accident once in a while if she cant make it age dont really matter as much as readiness like saying i gotta pee or telling u his already went . Grabbing at his diaper.

If your child is showing sings go for it. I started training my son a month after he turned 2 by 2.6 he was completely potty trained and night trained

Definitely watch for signs. My daughter is not yet 2 but is starting to recognize her full diaper and say poopoo and pee pee and then immediately going.

Absolutely. My daughter showed signs super young, like 15 months. She was trained before 2. Only wears a pullup at night in case she doesn't wake up to go potty. But she's been very good about it
