Random but just getting everyone’s opinion, if you hired a nanny and you had cameras, would you tell them you have cameras? And if you were a nanny and they had cameras, would you be annoyed that they didn’t tell you? Regardless of you ever doing anything wrong, wouldn’t it be wrong to not be told you’re being watched at any time of the day?
When I had a nanny I did tell her I had cameras. Like @erik_uhh, said I wouldn’t want to wait till they do something wrong cause I’m not trying to go to jail for beating someone’s ass. Lol
Right! lol. I don’t get why someone would wait or want proof when you could prevent it from happening and if it does end up happening you had already given them a warning sooo 👊🏼 😂
@erik_uhh, lol exactly they are much more attentive when they know someone’s watching. 🤷🏼♀️
It's completely up to you! I appreciate parents letting me know, but realistically it doesn't bother me either way. As a nanny you should always be acting in a professional manner, camera or not. If your nanny is uncomfortable with cameras they shouldn't be your nanny in my opinion. It doesn't effect how I do my job and parents can see their babes are safe and sound without me needing to stop and video chat multiple times a day or something. I think it's great for them to be able to check in and see me and baby are totally safe. 😊 I'll only be hiring someone once they confirm they're comfortable being on camera all day.
I would definitely tell them. I wouldn't wait to see if my son was being mistreated because id beat the shit out of my nanny but if I was the nanny I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I love taking care of kids but would love for the parents to see how their kids act when they're not around 😂
Check in to your state laws. Some required you to let them know others don’t.
Ima. Home health aid and my clients do not need to tell me if they do or not ... I personally think I wouldn't not at first atleast I would wanna do a check and make sure everything is good
I would definitely tell them. I do have cameras. And although I've never had anyone watch my kids other than my mom or sister, I have asked other people to watch my dog while we're on vacation. I've said, "I just want to let you know, that I do have cameras around our property." But I dont tell them where they are. It's kind of a warning for them. Like dont mess with my shit bc I'll see
I wouldn’t tell them. Unless they ask upfront then I would but wouldn’t disclose where they all are lol
No, I wouldn’t want someone knowing I had cameras on them if they’re watching my children. Especially if I really don’t know them! Now if you put the cameras in the bathroom that’s a little much and they would need to know😂
No I wouldn't tell them because if they do something too your kids or steal anything then you have proof too confront them about it so don't tell them you have cameras just see what they do after you hire them
I would tell them but part of me wouldn’t want to

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...
