Was at a client's property cutting down overgrown weeds in trees when we found this! My hubs was cutting her tree down! Luckily she built the nest low or else he would've killed it! I wonder why it didn't fly away once it heard a chain saw? Is it sitting on eggs? #nature

That looks like a very young bird. Maybe the baby bird? Not sure.

u mis understand.the tree didn't get fully cut because we saw nest.but mom built nest low,like 5 feet off ground.it was covered by branches at first but now u can blankly see it....but I need to cut that tree....so cut could I move it somewhere else? Maybe take it home two blocks away to my tree? Idk lol

I guess wait and see if momma bird comes back. Not sure if moving it will help momma bird or have her abandon baby bird. Sorry.

That is a baby Robin for sure. I have seen tuns of them

The mother bird can find it when the baby calls to it's mother. If you can I would keep it in that area. If you take it far she may not hear it. Robin's usually don't nest high up in trees. They are usually low in full trees or bushes
