I have moments where I literally breathe a sigh of relief when I remember I had my tubes removed. 😂😅

Oh my goodness. That's so frustrating they can deny someone that! I would've been very upset. In MA they recommend usually waiting until you have 2 kids and are a certain age but I'm not sure the PA laws. I know we possibly want one more. I'd love to have a tribe. Adoption is on the table for sure. There's just no physical way I think my body could handle more than possibly one more pregnancy. I really fell apart. It would be so hard on my husband if I got as sick as I did this pregnancy. He would be doing everything on his own. I'm actually afraid of what would happen. Tubal ligation was really looking like a good option down the road. I know some women have issues when they have them just tied so I was just curious if a complete removal would have less chance of complications.

I hear ya. I know my body would be like “fu*kkkk youuuu” if I tried to do it for a 3rd time. It’s so much on the body. I wish adoption was easier! I’d love to adopt a 3rd, and we have discussed it multiple times. But, we know we don’t want to take the foster route. Only because I don’t want my children and the other child to become family and then the birth mother get her act together and the child be taken back from us. I don’t want it to break all the kids’ hearts. But, adopting right out is also extremely expensive. It’s just annoying. We just need to save save save. 😤.

When I mentioned the tubal ligation to my doctor. I said “I’d like my tubes tied.” And he told me that getting the tubes tied was a dated practice. He said that the chance of ectopic pregnancy was much greater with that procedure and recommended the full removal instead. Said it was much safer, less side effects, and also drops the chance of feminine cancers, since the fimbriea are removed. I definitely recommend it!(:

I know. Adoption really is hard. It infuriates me how difficult it is for a safe loving home to adopt a child. There should obviously be intense screenings but really, they're harming more than helping making it so impossible here in the US to adopt. I may take the foster route at some point though. I've always wanted to foster. Having to give a child back does sound heartbreaking for a family but for me I think the reward of knowing that child was safe and loved in my home would make it worth it. I would most likely wait until this is something our little one could talk with us about. I'm going to have to ask my doctor about it. I've read it is the better option and tying was outdated, but it's nice hearing that from someone who had actually had the procedure done.

I need someone to talk to my husband into get himself fixed. He's mad at me because I did not get myself fixed during my C-section. Oh well. 🤷 I'm to scared of the side effects and long term problems it can give you. His procedure is out patient with very little recovery time and side effects.
