How much money a month do you spend on food?? Not including take out

Buying meat in bulk and meal planning helped us.

I also found a few easy cheaper meals that const under 20$

@nerdymommyplus2, I wish I could do that. My bf will cook a shit ton of food and it always gets wasted or if some one else is over eats it all. I wanted to meal plan buts it’s impossible in this house.

Hunting/raising our own meat and a big garden in the summer. It’s a lot of work but really cut down on grocery bills. It’s one of the few perks of living in the middle of nowhere. We kinda co-op with another family as far as we raise the white meat, they raise the red meat and we split it all when we butcher.

Yeah I spend around 900 or more and want to some how lower the price. But every one in this house loves cookies and other junk foods lol.

@sabi.bishh, I don’t even buy junk food but I do buy like steak and ribs every week 😂 probably were I went wrong. And theirs only 4 of us but of course the baby’s don’t eat much so can’t blame them

@westsidemomma, I get steak a lot and chicken. But it’s usually buy 1 get 1 free or even 2 free and some how I still spend a shit ton of money.

How do you keep it that low a month?? I can’t seem to ever not spend almost 900 or more.

@sabi.bishh honestly I don't even know lol as much as my kids eat I'm surprised I don't spend more

That’s what I spend for 7 of us. I’m trying to figure out how to not spend as much.
