Well. This happened right after I got up. Mind you I got up, peed, and then went and sat down in the living room so it's not like I'm being active or anything. Really ndont know what to do. They're close together and relatively regular but go down to like 9-10minutes apart of I lay down or just stop entirely until I got up. I never experienced this with my son so I don't know what to do at all. I don't want to go to L&D just to be sent back home because I have to lay down on the bed there and the contractions slow down or disappear.

I would go in to be monitored or checked. I did that the first time around and got admitted for labor but everyone’s different!

I had this from 31-37 weeks every few days, for a couple hours to 5-6 hrs. It’s called prodromal labor. They were painful contractions but not increasingly painful. They stopped when I could finally fall asleep usually. They do help dilate you just a tad so if you want to bring on labor you can keep going, if not rest and try to sleep. Counting contractions made me sleepy anyway for some reason.
