@srose1989 I think that's just a man thing, they don't like being told how to do things. my partners the same, always gets face on when I tell him how to do 'time out' properly.
But @jo.wilcox is right, you do have to put yourself and your boys first. As it will start to affect them and you if it carries on too long. x
@srose1989, you're more than capable of raising them on your own. You don't 'need' him in that sense. But you need him to be equal to all the boys, if they don't already notice they will and it won't feel nice for them when they see him all over Jacob but never want to know them, even if he isn't there dad he's still supposed to be the man of the house and impose a fatherly figure on them. You can only try your best to make it work, don't do anything that doesn't make you happy! X
@beffgoude he thinks he nos best on how to be a dad 😣it's Pethetic when I talk if he don't like the answer hel tell me just shut up or go bla bla bla like a arrogant child xxx

@jo.wilcox I raise my lads 6 years on my own did a okay job I hope things sorts them self's if no change am gnna walk away xxx
@srose1989 I don't think 'fuck it off' I think there's a big breakdown in communication with you both and you probably need a night on your own to talk stuff through and get it all out in open. He needs to realise how he's making you feel, when he's making you choose and he needs to realise that although he's not there dad, and you wouldn't want him to be, he's still a positive role model in there life. Like you just said yourself he's improved your son's life with the routine and rules etc. You've made a family together you have to be a team ain't it? You have to be on same page when it comes to raising kids and communication is key.
@srose1989, I hear what you're saying, It's not as easy as 'fucking them off' when you love them and it results in a broken family. But you've got to weigh up the good and the bad, is it worth working on the negatives to make it a solid family home, or is there too much that's not gonna change and keep making you unhappy? You've got to think of your kids but you also have to think of yourself, it's not good you constantly being unhappy because they'll pick up on it and the atmosphere will be much worse. Just hope you manage to sort it out and make the best choice for you and your boys! X
@jo.wilcox I am ready to walk if am honest girls @beffgoude it's very hard but days he's boss days he is just against it all I just don't no what to do I no ppl will think fuk him off but it's braking yet another family up he sets rules down like for the lads n he has made them in to good boys so I just don't get were these out bursts come from. Xx
Hope you're okay. See your status's all the time about him and I honestly feel bad for you! Reading the comments and I agree, he knew what he was getting into when he got with you and knew you had kids from a previous relationship. You should really try and have a serious sit down and lay it all on the table cos you'll end up insane if you keep putting up with his ways, you're worth more! X
@srose1989 narcissistic means you love yourself, self centered etc, aswell.
@srose1989 that's so upsetting that he feels that way and he's making you choose in a situation you shouldn't have to choose in. At the end of the day it isn't your son's and his baby, there all brothers. And there all your son's, he needs to start seeing them as his family to, especially if you all live under same roof aswell. Maybe you need to sit down and explain this too him, before it's not just you 2 it starts causing issues for, your son's are at an age where they'll pick up on these things and you don't want them questioning why he doesn't like them. It's a horrible situation your in 😧🤔
@srose1989 I feel for u my baby dad has 4 boys an let's them run ragged I bought mine up different an it's like I have rules an he doesn't it never works I mean who let's a 3 year old play out on an estate no chance xx

Once every 2 weeks I really get a break from all the kids so I can't be sociable really it's hard he is all for his son but won't get involved at all its stupid he's little a mini Hitler with his rules aswell xxx @hayleyf
Just read your first comment @srose1989, sorry I missed it before! He can't say that about your other sons and not being their dad...my OH has an 8 year old daughter who we have regularly. It's hard for me sometimes as although I do mother her, I'm not her mum. I still have to treat her the same as I'm treating baby though and i get her involved all the time. If you are with someone who has kids from before then you have to fully accept them as your own, that's part of the deal in my eyes, so I wouldn't be happy with that. Does the dad of your other sons see them @srose1989?x
@srose1989 lock them in a room together till its sorted 😂😂xxxx
@beffgoude I feel like am torn all the time he says would love to just have a week with u n the baby if I say anything am a moan but I seriously can't carry on this way ! He says does there dad put up with this no I have said well go then n he says why should I leave cos ur boys 😕😑
hope your okay @srose1989 X
reading your comment, your partner has to understand you come as a package and he knew that when he got with you. You had your previous son's and he should respect that, especially since you've made a family together aswell. He doesn't have to replace there dad, but he needs to be there to support them and you.
@srose1989 let him sulk I do it all the time with my partner he hates it after awhile and comes and talks to me after 😂😂😂
Maybe you two need to try and have a bit of time on your own??? Xx
