You’ll be surprised, once you get close you hit that nesting stage and organizing is all you want to do lol. If you do it now, you may be able to cover it with a sheet until baby is here.
Whenever you want, if you are worried about dust you can wait once you hit the mid third trimester or after the baby is born.

We didn’t get a swing but I put everything together months before and I covered like the bouncer with a sheet. Even though her room was set up there was little stuff we still needed once we got home so yeah I had like her crib mattress there but no bedding I put it all on once she was home but just kept it ready
