Stupid question but I want your guys opinions on it. How many more nights more would you give your one year old who has the flu Motrin at bedtime, even though they have no fever anymore and don't seen uncomfortable? No fever for almost two days now. My husband thinks just because she does not have a fever and is not showing signs that's she uncomfortable that she should still get meds before bed, like last night, and she was perfectly fine all day. Also today is the 5th day of the flu if she even still has it
I don’t give my kids any meds unless they have a high 🤒 even when teething I don’t because our body’s will only handle so much in our life time. And I don’t wanna be the reason they have kidney or liver problems. My mom did this to me a lot when I was little and it caused me some problems later in life.
@ladyfreyja, yeah when I was 9 that’s the tibula and femer
My baby doctor told me if she has no fever dont give her medicine so I think you trully shouldn't especially if she is acting comfortable. Tell him too much medicine is not good for her liver
@verguinia he says I'm to paranoid and I Google stuff to much. Oh well 🤷
@ladyfreyja he too paranoid you relaxed and know she is ok
I would pretend to give her some then . Like say hunny a gave baby girl her medication . Give her some juice . Hahah .
I wouldn’t Medicate unless she seemed uncomfortable. You can tell him Motrin can be harsh on their little tummies
Oh he will not listen to me, I tell him stuff like that all the time and he says he's the father and if he wants to give them meds he will.
@ladyfreyja, 🙄😒 I’m sorry. You should put laxatives in his dinner and tell him “I’m the wife and if I want to give you meds, I will.” 🙂🙊
Even if you get your flu shot can you still get the flu?
I have been feeling like crap more than normal, not wanting to eat, water even upsetting my stomach, and getting sick (I didn't get morning sickness)... but I go back to work this morning and they tell me the girl I usually work with has the flu and I really hope she didn't give it to me.
Whats the longest your child has had a fever for? We're on day 5 now with flu :(
68 more days to go
How much longer do you mamas have and time sure does feel like it's standing still.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
my boyfriend has this friend he’s known since they were little kids. she likes to go out to eat and go to the movies, stuff like that and he’s usually the one she goes with. I’ve expressed that i’m uncomfortable with it plenty of times and even after talking to the girl about why I feel like this and even being told and me knowing that nothing is going on between them, i still find myself very uncomfortable with it. 😩
I'd stop as soon as the symptoms disappear. There is no need to keep putting that into their little bodies. Infact new research shows that even when they have a cold or the flu medicine is not very effective in young children and should be avoided whenever possible.
