Pros and cons of being a stay at home mommy?

PROS- is having your home and kids taken care of , your not falling behind on house work your schedule is pretty much full cuz being a mom is a 24/7 job and doing house work is very time consuming - CONS- id have to say is not helping financially so it’s all strained sometimes also not leaving the house for adult interaction gets hard too . But that’s all i can come up with right now

Pros- you get to see and be in control of they do.

Cons- you most likely won’t have time away or to yourself.

I wasn’t trying to insult or be rude. Personally, I don’t want to be a stay at home mom. I love my babies but I need/crave adult interaction. That’s all I was saying.

Pros - no babysitter to pay.

Con - always at home!! I’ve been a SAHM for over 11 years I’m over it.

Of my personal experience there’s a lot of free time. Probably too much of it. I also only have one kid right now so Its not that crazy in my house. I do have way more time to cook, clean, organize, make crafts, do activities and other things with my child. I do love the opportunity of staying home but it’s very very lonely. Exactly why I have this app. Depending on my mood some days I’m okay other days I’m wanting to snap and leave lmao.

Pros -saves $$, bonding time , pjs all day lol / Cons- housework, kiddos fight and ppl tend to talk lotta💩💩

Pros- your very in-tuned with your child

You can have lazy days when needed

Have lots of fun days

For me I focus more on their nutrition much more don’t have to call off on sick days there’s many actually

Cons not much adult time most of the week I have baby shark and thanos talks

I feel like I have less time for my self

I’m always cleaning or cooking I feel like

Miss socializing

But I still prefer staying home

I’ve been sahm for 17 years we have 6 kids (while at times being a wfhm, I’m a personal trainer set my own hours)

Pros-I get to protect my children in every situation, I do not miss any of their firsts, The children have the security of knowing that I would be there for and with them when they are hurt scared or sick, I don’t have to worry about other children at day care biting pinching hurting or bullying them. My husband and myself are the main influences in their lives so there’s less confusion and fear when they’re younger. I get to know my kids on a much deeper level being w them 24/7 instead of the sitter/daycare.

Cons- is there really any for me? Maybe wanting to pee without a kid needing the tv turned up? Seriously for me there are no drawbacks. It’s just a happy I life w my kids every day being there for them. That’s what mattered most to my husband and I. Extra Money and being alone can wait till I’m a lonely old lady w nothing but grandkids on the weekends. Then I can twerk naked for my husband at home all I want or work 2 jobs to socialize. Lol
