I’m starting to get so nervous about my c section! I really hope this little girl breastfeeds great like her sister did and hoping that the surgery doesn’t affect anything since I can’t have skin to skin contact right away. 😞
My husband did skin to skin while I was in recovery because I got sick as a dog and then once I got a little better I took over. But some hospitals let you have skin to skin while you are still being worked on and some once you are ready. Talk to your doctor and see what your options are.... Mine also offered the clear drape and delayed cutting off the cord.
Did they say you can’t have skin to skin right away? When I had my c section as soon as they got her cleaned up they put her on my chest then when I was in recovery they had me start nursing.
I know some hospitals don’t allow it , mines didn’t so I had to wait until I got in the recovery room
Think positive mama !! Its always nerve wracking when you're this close !! Cant wait to see her already though !!! You're so close !!

Should I take her to the hospital?
I breastfed skin to skin and pulled away to see this

I hope this helps and y'all moms with my account
Skin to skin
Did you mamas do skin to skin right after pushing your little ones out or did you wait until you got too your recovery room? I never did this with my first as I didn't know shat only being 16. I would really love to experience this and so much more this time around.

Raptor is doing GREAT!! He is off of everything (as you can see :)) except for a feeding tube and an IV!! I got discharged today so I could get to my baby boy! I got to hold him skin to skin and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.
My doctor told me I have severe preeclampsia😔😔😔 now I'm scared💔 I hope Leah is born healthy🌸 and I hope I deliver her with no complications😔
You will be fine mama . Think positive! Can’t wait to see pictures of baby girl 💗
