I'm 14 weeks pregnant and my family wants to do a gender reveal on the 29th. Do you think I'll be able to find out the gender before then? Or might it be too soon? #myfirstpost

I did the gender blood work at 13 weeks. My doctor asked if I wanted it. It came back in 5 days.

Ask about the blood test that will give you a gender result. I can't remember what it's called but you won't have to wait for the ultrasound

I paid for a private ultrasound and found out at 17 weeks

^ This is probably your best bet. Sneakpeek testing can also get you a gender result for around $100, but it’s not as accurate as on-sight lab testing offered through your doctor and those tests are considerably more expensive unless you’re offered the test. You should be able to book a private ultrasound starting as early as 15-16 weeks to do a gender reveal, and most studios guarantee a gender result so you could come back a few days later for free if they can’t catch a glimpse the first time!

You should be 17 weeks by then? Usually your OB will order the anatomy scan around 20 weeks. But it has to be after 18 most of the time. They may want to wait
