My view all day today. I decided to go to the emergency room even though the nurseline recommended that I stay home, and I’m thankful that I did 🙌🏼 Christopher is showing signs of fetal distress, his heart rate is significantly lower than normal and he’s not moving nearly as much. My preeclampsia screening results were rushed and hopefully they’ll be back from the lab in the next couple hours!

I decided to name my son Christopher Leo, rather than the other way around. I’ve told my family and friends that I changed my mind about naming him Leo, but I’m not telling them the new name I chose.

Christopher is my grandfather’s name and he has gone above and beyond the call of great-grandfather duty. Seeing him love my unborn son so much makes me love him even more 💙 I’ll be surprising my grandfather after Christopher is born. I can’t wait to see the look on his face!

I’m really hoping to have my preeclampsia screening results back tomorrow, but it’ll probably be a few days. My blood pressure hasn’t gotten any higher, but I’m feeling worse! 😩

Another resale find! This one was free. I found this swing for Leo and after some light cleaning to get rid of the dinginess from prior use, it’s in really good shape and works perfectly (cat tested and approved). Leo will be swimming in preloved belongings.

For some reason I thought my nonstress test would be today, but I didn’t realize it couldn’t be done until 26 weeks. So we’ll be doing that at my appointment next week, which means another week to worry about it.

At my appointment today Leo was not cooperative, he didn’t want to move. We couldn’t get a clear look at his heart so further analysis of his ASD will be starting next week as well but his heartbeat was perfect. Most likely it’s nothing to worry about since he’s still so young and the...

I start my preeclampsia monitoring this week and I’m nervous. I’ll be doing a 24 hour urine collection and a non-stress test. I hope everything goes well, I’ve been struggling with high blood pressure and nothing I’ve done has been able to significantly help.

Any mamas successfully lower their blood pressure? I’ve been keeping track of mine since it’s been borderline for awhile now. I’ve been taking my dog for a lot of walks, cut out caffeine, lowered my salt intake but so far no big difference. What worked best for you?

I’m overflowing with hand-me-downs! At this rate, I won’t need to buy any clothes for Leo for the next two years. Of course that still won’t stop me 😂
